The future of transportation is clean, quiet and eco-friendly. The future of transportation is electric.
The IMEA Electric Vehicle Charging Station & Electric Vehicle program is helping its member municipalities realize that future.
This first-of-its-kind program in Illinois offers $250,000 in incentives each year to provide up to 80% of the cost for member communities to:
- Own or lease qualified electric vehicles for city use.
- Own or lease qualified electric vehicle charging stations to be made available to the public.
- Establish rebate programs for retail electric customers who install electric vehicle chargers at their homes or businesses.
