The American Public Gas Association (APGA) has named Springfield, Illinois as the first stop of its annual Member Tour. Plan now to be at IPEA headquarters in Springfield on June 8 as IPEA hosts APGA President & CEO Dave Schryver, Vice President of Operations & Safety Erin Kurilla, and APGA Vice President of Government Relations Stuart Saulters.
As part of the annual Member Tour, APGA officers schedule stops throughout the U.S. to visit association members and provide updates on federal regulatory and legislative activities for the municipal-owned and community-owned natural gas utility industry. More importantly, the tour is a chance for small group conversations “from the field.” This is your chance to inform the CEO and staff of your national association about the challenges your utility is facing and let them know what APGA can do to help.
Registration for the event, which includes a luncheon, is free. The session in Springfield is open to all public- and community-owned gas employees, regardless of current APGA membership status. APGA also welcomes the vendors and service providers that support publicly owned gas systems at this IPEA-hosted event.
Contact APGA’s Audrey Casey at acasey@apga.org for assistance with registration.
