IMUA Training

Through its monthly Safety & Training Program, IMUA provides a variety of on-site programs and services designed to serve the needs of its members, as well as provide assistance in satisfying compliance with various regulatory directives and requirements.

IMUA’s safety programs serve to enhance worker safety, reduce property damage and lessen municipal liability.

IMUA training programs are cost-effective and tailored to meet our members' needs. Examples of the many safety topics and programs offered by IMUA’s staff include: arc-blast/arc-flash protection and prevention; confined space entry and rescue; electrical safety; emergency planning and disaster preparedness; flagger training and certification; hazardous communications; lockout/tagout (LO/TO); pole-top and bucket rescue; trenching and shoring; respiratory protection; and, First Aid/CPR/AED.
