Confined Space Entry/Rescue Written Program and Annual Training
Fire Safety/Emergency Action Plan Written Program and Annual Training
Flagger Training Initial training, plus remedial training in case of accident, rule violation, or change in work zone conditions. For change in work zone conditions use manuals and guidance provided by MUDC and IDOT.
Basic Electrical Safety Initial training, updates in case of accident, error or citation.
Trenching and Shoring Initial Training unless there is an accident or citation.

Topic: Requirement:
Emergency Evacuation Program Written Program and Annual Training. Any organization having a building that regularly holds ten or more employees needs an evacuation plan.
Process Safety Management Written Program and Annual Training. An example of this would be if a community has a water or sewer plant with one ton (or greater) cylinders. With these sized cylinders they would need a written plan with annual training.
Hazardous Materials Written Program and Annual Training.
Personal Protective Equipment Written Program and Annual Training. This is basically required for everyone.
Fire Safety Brigades For fire departments with heavy duty fire suppression equipment
Portable Fire Suppression Equipment Written Plan and Annual Training if required in an emergency action plan.
Powered Industrial Trucks Training is required every three years if your community has “big trucks” and in some cases “Bob Cats”.
Asbestos Awareness Written Program and Annual Training is required. If your employees have the potential to exposed to asbestos in areas such as older buildings, water plants, steam plants, and generation facilities.
Laboratory Safety Program Written Program and Annual Training needed if your community operates a laboratory.
Finally, if the requirement shows a need for a written plan, your community needs a written plan to be compliant!
