IMEA has brought on line several solar photovoltaic projects in our member communities. We are continuing to add more solar into our portfolio.
Rantoul Units 1 & 2
Rantoul 1 became operational in 2017 and Rantoul 2 became operational in 2021. IMEA commissioned and built this project through a power purchase agreement with Altorfer for both of these arrays.
Naperville solar energy system is located at the Springbrook Water Treatment Facility and it became operational in 2021. IMEA commissioned and built this project through a power purchase agreement with subsidiaries of Sol Systems.
Rock Falls solar energy system became operational in 2020. IMEA commissioned and built this project through a power purchase agreement with subsidiaries of Sol Systems.
Altamont solar energy system became operational in 2020. IMEA commissioned and built this project through a power purchase agreement with Sol Systems for this array.
St. Charles solar energy system became operational in 2017. IMEA commissioned and built this project through a power purchase agreement with Altorfer for this array.
